Voice, Acting, and Opera for all ages and levels

JOHN KUETHER is thrilled to be returning to The Dallas Conservatory after spending two years in Hamburg, Germany. He had been invited there to join a new production of The Phantom of the Opera, a piece he has had a long association with as both a performer and resident director. He spent ten years with the Broadway production and performed in about fifty cities on the national tour. While in Hamburg, John was on the faculty of the prestigious Joop van der Ende Academy, one of the top music theater training programs in Europe. He has sung with the opera companies of Santa Fe, Houston, Seattle, Philadelphia and Vienna, and his favorite roles include Mozart’s Figaro and Leporello, Don Magnifico in Rossini’s Cenerentola, and the four villains in Offenbach’s Tales of Hoffmann. He has performed Cervantes/Don Quixote in The Man of La Mancha with the Skylight Opera Theatre in Milwaukee, and played the title role in staged versions of the Schumann/Lord Byron Manfred with both the Seattle Symphony and the American Symphony Orchestra in Avery Fischer Hall in New York. John can be heard on recordings on Leonard Bernstein’s A Quiet Place and Philip Glass’s La Belle et la Bête.
